Reflecting on a Memorable Evening: My Art Opening at Serendipity Labs
This past Friday, I had the privilege of hosting my art opening at the beautiful Serendipity Labs on the 24th floor of Innovation Square. The evening was everything I could have hoped for and more. It was a night filled with art, laughter, connection, and a shared purpose of supporting a cause close to my heart.
A Wonderful Turnout for a Great Cause
We welcomed about 70 attendees, creating a warm and vibrant atmosphere high above the city. It was humbling to see so many familiar faces and meet new ones, all while surrounded by my lastest collection of oil paintings.
Even more exciting, together we raised ~$1,000 for the Rochester Family Mission! This organization does such meaningful work for our community, and knowing that my art could play a small role in supporting their efforts fills me with gratitude.
A Space Full of Energy and Inspiration
The setting couldn’t have been more perfect. The light-filled Serendipity Labs space offered a stunning backdrop for my paintings, which came alive against the panoramic views of downtown Rochester. I overheard so many thoughtful comments about how the bold colors and textures brought warmth and energy to the office. This is something that reminded me why I paint in the first place: to bring joy and vibrancy into people’s lives.
Gratitude for Your Support
To me, hosting an event like this is more about the community than the art. No matter your reason for attending, your presence meant the world to me. Seeing the room filled with so much kindness and generosity left me humbled and inspired to keep creating.
For those who purchased artwork, swapped stories, or simply stopped by to show support, thank you. Together, we made an impact, and I couldn’t have done it without you.
Looking Ahead
This event has left me more motivated than ever to continue blending my passion for painting with opportunities to give back to the Rochester community. If you missed the show but would like to learn more about my work, or hear about future events, make sure to subscribe to my newsletter.
